Gather, Validate, Store
The platform has evolved around the creation management and storage of the data required to safely operate and maintain buildings and infrastructure projects.
Our core principle is “capture the data once” and then use it many times!
This massively reduces the data management overhead, yet still enables the delivery of many complex templates.
The platform simplifies and automates the production, collation, and management of the ever-growing technical data requirements such as COBie, FIREie, ISO19650, as well as operation and maintenance manuals, health and safety files, building energy logbooks and managing all the related data such as BIM models, plans, drawings, schematics, datasheets, warrantees, and guarantees.
EDocuments data solution is built around streamlining the collation and validation of data, improving the data accuracy, and increasing productivity.
Ways to gather content using the platform.
1. Manual data entry -- Intelligent web forms, Excel and word like online editors, Cut and paste thousands of rows at a time.
2. Import -- Import AIR, LOI, LOD , classifications, Excel assets, COBie workbook, IFC model, Autodesk, Revit models, ACC Autodesk construction cloud, BIM 360
3. Sync -- CDE connectors, ACC Autodesk construction cloud, BIM 360
Ways to validate content using the platform.
1. Visual validation in the 3d model viewer
2. Dashboards and validation summaries
3. COBie data validator
4. Asset data validation
Ways to store content using the platform:
1. What content we store
The platform has evolved around the creation management and storage of the data required to safely operate and maintain buildings and infrastructure projects. Typically, operation and maintenance manuals, plans, drawings, schematics, datasheets, warrantees, guarantees and related information.
2. How we store the data
The platform stores the data as granularly as possible but is to a degree dependent on how the content it is provided. The physical data storage is a mix of file/ blob storage plus data bases for the tabular data.
3. Storage options
Geography? Data at rest location, Subscription, project, annual or hosting.
