Client Requirements.

The client required a web-based solution that would ensure that all relevant handover information would be authored, reviewed, and approved digitally. Furthermore, QR Codes were required to be generated and placed onto assets in the field; the intent for the QR Codes was that, upon scanning, the user would be taken to respective asset’s information stored within DATA+.

Furthermore, AESG were asked to provide a reverse brief on the Asset Information Requirements, Formats and Templates for the Digital Handover that were eventually agreed by the Client and the Project team.

The client was impressed with the seamless onboarding and user-friendly interface provided by DATA+ / Springboard on the project.

How AESG did it.

Utilising the Data+ / Springboard platform, a full suite of industry compliant documents including Warranties, Authority Approvals, O&M Manuals and Building Logbooks were created.

Our dedicated team of experts successfully managed the entire process of collating the necessary information, supporting the client’s teams as and when needed.

Furthermore, AESG were also requested to manage the workflow and reporting for the Digital Handover that provided transparency and benefited decision-making across the project management team. By providing a QA/QC validation of the sub-contractors’ information and data throughout the project, AESG were able to ensure that all the handover information was structured and relevant before being released into the review workflow – this significantly expedited the review process to achieve an approval on all information on the Data+ / Springboard platform.

Key Outcomes and Lessons Learnt.

Going the extra mile on this project, our technical staff authored the Building & MEP O&M manuals on behalf of the MEP contractor to assure collaboration and further mitigate risk.

The client continues to host all project information online, with new information from fit-out contracts uploaded onto our easy-to-use platform when necessary.

Intuitive and easy-to-use, the Data+ / Springboard platform is enabling the client and its teams to access important information in an efficient and straightforward way. Not only can complex information be found within a swift timeframe, but information is also stored on a secure platform.
