Client requirements

Use BIM for the design, construction, specification and O&M Manuals and manage the Estate using an Asset Information Model (AIM).

Progressively develop project information that was relevant, useful and beneficial to the FM team.

Project scope

Laing O'Rourke, as MCC's construction delivery partner recognised that using data to create the Health and Safety Files, Operating and Maintenance Manuals would be efficient and cost effective.

Use BIM as the basis for the long-term development of the MCC estate management strategy, data connected to 3D Models and CAFM

Use process driven workflows to easily audit and update the data

Edocuments solution utilised Springboard EDMS to provide data structures compliant with the FM Team AIM.

Fully managed production of the as built data in data connected and updated via CAFM system.

FM processes accessible by desktop and mobile users.

Data hosted in a variety of on-line/off-line solutions; SQL Cloud and MCC Servers with bi-directional links.
